Photographing military families is an emotional experience. There’s joy and pride but also a touch of sadness. I thank God daily for not only those who serve but for their families too. I consider them all heroes.

I’m continuing my 2009 review and do hope you are enjoying the flashbacks. This was one of my first sessions using a real fish. “Nemo” quickly became a favorite and has co-stared in many a photo session since his first appearance.
I’ve finished updating my new blog (almost) so now I’m going back and highlighting images from 2009 to complete the update. Enjoy!
